Thanks Lunchbox for bringing this to our attention.
It looks as though a folder has appeared behind the windows on http://www.scariestthingieversaw.com . I'm not sure when it first appeared, but the folder name is "braegen14" and it contains a file named "expcnv.dat". With that knowledge I went back into the PDP-11 simulator to see if any other commands now worked using this new file. I figured since the "RSCOM8.DAT" was the file that allowed us to print the "Rocket Poppeteers" newspaper articles and this new one was also a .DAT file, that we may get lucky.
The .PRINT and .COMT didn't produce any results, but the .EXEC did. If you type ".EXEC EXPCNV" (without quotes) into the terminal, another window pops up asking for the Path of an external source and that's as far as I got (not anymore, keep reading). I tried entering a bunch of different things into the "Path" field that appear somewhere within the terminal emulator; TU56, DECtape, DEV1, DD1... but nothing worked. I also tried paths to places on my actual machine with no luck...
UPDATE: PATH DISCOVERED: It was actually pretty obvious once you think about it. "morbus" over at unfiction figured out the path is "/desktop/Braegen14/expcnv.dat" (no quotes) which would make sense since that's the location of the file on the desktop emulator that we're looking at. So if you plug that in the path device box you will hear a strange audio file...

Update 3: I took the liberty of checking out "Mills'" tip from the comments about Braegen 14 being a disk drive in itself and this is what I found on the Soundstream wikipedia page (which I found simply by typing Braegen 14 into google)
The Digital Editing System
Soundstream’s digital editing system was the first instance of a computer used to edit commercial recordings. It consisted of a Digital Equipment PDP 11/60 computer, Soundstream’s interface to transfer data between its recorder and the computer’s disks (a pair of Braegen 14" disk drives), digital-to-analog playback hardware, and editing software. For all intents and purposes, this system was the very first digital audio workstation. In addition to its own facility, Soundstream installed editing systems at Paramount Pictures (Hollywood), RCA (New York), and Bertelsmann (Germany). A system was delivered to the U.S. Department of Justice to aid the analysis of bootleg recordings.
Editing could be performed at sample accuracy (i.e., 1/50,000 of a second); any mixing was performed digitally.
The sound system in the editing room in the Salt Lake facility used a Threshold SL-10 preamp, a Sumo "The Power" amp, and Infinity RS4.5 speakers.
Probably not going to lead us to another clue, but it's kind of interesting none the less, especially the connection to the PDP-11 computer and Paramount Pictures.

I too was only able to print the message in b/w but from what I can tell it looks like the interior of an office. The square-ish shape at the bottom of the screen looks like a desk and if you look to the right of the picture it looks like what could either be an overhead projector or stuff for a desk in an office. To the upper left there appears to be round lampshade. If anyone has printed this in color feel free to correct me. The letters in the center of the picture are V E R, from the word ever in the sentence scariestthingieVERsaw. Again, if I am wrong, I am happy to admit this if anyone else has made a concrete determination of what is actually contained in this new picture.

i just went back to the website and went to the .REENTER screen and typed VER for the device. Nothing. However, could these three letters be an abbreviation for something else? I hate throwing out something so “left field” like that, but I so want to find the next clue. As for the Rocket Poppeteers coupon, sent mine in about a month ago, and to date, I have received nothing. But the good news is, I haven’t RECEIVED anything. Meaning? The letter hasn’t come back to me “return to sender”. I think everybody who can and who hasn’t sent in that coupon should do it now before more people get hip to this campaign. There could be a really awesome outcome to the postal angle.
The high quality picture uhm showed has a post-it on the left. If someone can tell us what it says it will be great.

if you read my original post that is what I stated I would do when I got home. I was at work and therefore could not check the scariestthingieversaw website. If you don’t want to share what you have found with the rest of us then don’t, but i find it to be unnecessary that people are arguing and being confrontational on this website. I don’t think this is what ADMIN was aiming for when he created this site, correct me if I’m wrong ADMIN but didn’t you create this site to keep people updated and to share information with people who wanted to know?

Admin’s not doing a very good job keeping people posted. There’s a lot of info from unfiction from people breaking it down. No one on here seems to know the specifics of the picture such as the “Sold” post it and the fact that the image is reflected on a mirror, or the possibility of it being two pictures stacked on one another.

I also wikipedia’ed VER and besides it actually being a computer command, I don’t see any other article that could relate to space, aliens, or the air force. I happen to think it is just a frame shot connecting this image to the trailer and VER is a coincidence, but that’s just me.
I think the sticky note says N3. The paper above it may say something as well.

I zoomed in the picture and that’s not an alien, it’s a vent. And on the right side of the vent looks like the roof. I think the picture is an attic.
Have u tried the reenter function? I did it and it took me to a thing that said ” MOUNT continue? Y/N” and after saying yes it then says “DEVICE” which i cant figure out what you type in.
@MikeB to bring you up to speed, .REENTER is still a brick wall for all of us because no one has figured out what the device command is. at this point we are all analyzing the latest development with the new image in the print window. to see what i mean, go back to the site from the beginning and move the smaller window over to reveal the print window. print it out go from there. hope that helps

Well, not the whole movie, I only figured out the plot, but I’m still wondering about the sound file and the monster and the car/train accident and the Rocket Poppeteers, and the CREATOR of the scariestthingieversaw.com! The thing is, well, J.J. Abrams had refused to reveal the plot and, listen carefully, he said to LET THE IMAGES SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES. So, the following is the discovery of the plot.
In the movie, the creature breaks outs right? Well, the little kid MIGHT be the alien or the thing that breaks out. And with the Super 8 camera, it films the whole thing. Or someone or a bunch of people are filming the whole accident. It all makes senses, right?

JJ Abrams said it himself that a group of kids may or may not have filmed the events with a Super8 camera. It is filmed traditonally since he was over the whole “first person filming” technique. I’m getting tired of Joshua Arispe thinking he knows everything when in fact, he doesn’t know anything. Every “theory” proposed has already been proven or dismissed a long time ago. You really are a troll.
The sound file reminds me of Close Encounters Of The Third Kind for some reason. I thought about it after remembering that Steven Spielberg was producing Super 8. I doubt it’s much of a clue, but it’s something I noticed.
