It appears that the mysterious man in the chat room has made good on his promise to upload a picture of Josh Minker's father to the STIES site. A folder has appeared on the desktop behind the terminal window and the print window. If you open the folder called 'Photos' you will find an image named 'ScanAM13'. The file name seems to indicate that his name is A. Minker(?) Using the same password that we used to gain access to the chat 'toadfish112' you will find a picture of an African American man who we're assuming is Josh Minker's Father. If you cross reference the photo with the ID badges that were found a few weeks ago, you will notice that there is only 1 African American person featured on those badges. He is a technician with the following information.

Here is the picture that you will find within the photos folder. You can clearly see the orientation of the 3 dots on the ID badge he is wearing coincide with the 3 dots in the ID badge above...
It's no coincidence that his ID badge is the one that had the letters 'TROGL' written on it, I'm fairly confident that Josh Minker is African American (or at least 1/2 since we're not sure if his mom is or not). TROGL is obviously going to have some importance in things to come so keep an eye out for those letter anywhere you can.

an interesting read it may be nothing….but some here might remember. i forget if it was mentioned here or in the forum a while back while filming was going on. it had to do with the scenes they were filming in the cemetary and inside a garage where something had dug ” a big hole” in the ground inside it….just read on that site some of the things “trogl” is short for…alot of creature and cave/hole in ground dwelling cratures…..even mention of a cave dwelling fish

I found that this species is studied to understand degenerative evolution, because its blind. It thrives in caves because it doesnt need light to survive.

Random thought but has anyone let the official website for Super 8 just sit in their browser? Remember on the 1-18-08.com site, after being left up for 6 minutes a sound bite was heard in the background. Maybe something like that will happen on the official website.

I think the african american man is Mysterio. I don’t think the puppetmasters would reveal what Mr. Minker looks like this soon in the game.
One thing I do know is that that man is Glynn Turman a great character acter, who was the science teacher in Gremlins, also a Spielberg movie.

What bothers me is this connection between mr mesterio and Josh . The way I see it is that Mr.M is looking for the dad .
He may be a friend or even a agent ,but more likely a friend. He doesn’t know where to find dad . And Josh dad sent all his info on where he is to the only person he can trust his son .
Now Josh being slow and all can’t find all the clues or know how to read them . Mr.M is the only one that can help him .
So if I look at it like this I think that Joshes dad still have something of importance.
