If you've been following the Rocket Poppeteers portion of the viral marketing you would know that we've seen a survey come through our email boxes in the past, but it looks like a new one is starting to show up for some of you. Thanks to @tjcreative on Twitter for the screenshot.

For those of you that were worried you'd never receive your Rocket Poppeteers certificate due to where you lived, never fear because people are starting to receive PDF copies of their certificates via e-mail. So hopefully those that haven't yet received a physical copy in the mail will at least get a digital copy to love and cherish. Even people that have received physical copies are also reporting that they have received an email copy as well.

rocket poppeteers certificate

Many readers have reported receiving a large envelope containing a certificate from The Rocket Poppeteers, but RocketMan22 was nice enough to send over a picture of the certificate as well as the envelope. He did mention that he still cannot login to the rocket poppeteers website so it doesn't appear that anything has been unlocked by this certificate at the moment.

User Anarchic Mind in the forums posted a few images of a Rocket Poppeteers poster that he picked up at the NYC Comic-Con this weekend. It's a mini poster that shows Captain Coop Cooper, a woman named Cassie and a monkey astronaut. I can't tell you much about the poster other than what you can see in the image (close ups can be found on the forum), but Xeno Lambrose had some observations that could warrant discussion. He questions the legitimacy of the poster due to the fact that the Rocket Poppeteers Logo has changed, Captain Coop is missing a star on his uniform and there's no Copyright message anywhere, which we've seen on other RP stuff.

Personally I think that this is legit and is just a stylized poster. It's definitely not the style we're used to seeing on the Rocket Poppeteers designs, but I still feel like it's not a fake. It's hard to imagine that someone would get away with handing out fake merch at the NYC Comic-Con, but I could be wrong. So check out the poster and let us know what you think, is it real, is it fake? Did anyone else snag one of these at the Con? Let us know!

Rocket Poppeteers Application

rocket poppeteers email

It looks as though some people are starting to receive their applications for the Rocket Poppeteers. Emails have been sent out starting yesterday that allow people to complete a "test" in order to join the Rocket Poppeteers. I have not received this email yet, but some of the readers here were kind enough to send me screenshots of what it looks like. So thanks to Toto and Alex for the screenshots and any other information you have regarding this please let us know in the comments.

Also we have received some more images from around Weirton which I have added to the gallery.
