Hooklineandminker.com and the Josh Minker that runs it have always been a part of this viral. We’ve used the calendar to determine STIES chat times and Sarah even “hacked” the site to provide Josh with the password to relavistic.com.
However any and all Josh Minkers on Facebook are fake.

Hey I just wanted to bring this to everyone’s attention at the end of the trailer on the updated super 8 website it says click here in the tiny camera but nothing happens when I click it. I think we should keep an eye on it because maybe in the future there will be something to click…

It just goes to the s8editingroom.com site. It’s been there for a while now. In the normal trailer on Apple.com it actually says “s8editingroom.com”, but since it’s a video file it can’t be clicked. On the super8-movie.com website, since it’s an embedded flash video, they were able to make it clickable.

LOVE the new super8-movie.com site and this is totally unrelated, but, I don’t think anyone spell-checked the updates before they went live.
‘Ratings’ are spelled as ‘Ratins’ at the bottom of each page.
Spelling errors can probably fly under the radar for a normal movie site.
HOwever, when there’s a viral this amazing going on, every little word, phrase, image, etc. is parsed through with a fine-tooth comb by eager readers like ourselves.
Oh well. No nuggets. Can’t wait to find out the movie’s ‘ratin’. Heehee. 🙂
i love these pictures and the way the film looks so far still waiting for more news on the rocket poppeteers website though but anyway thank you for making this site I check every day to see what’s up and it really is the #1 source for me and all my friends:)
So the vista relics are the cubes. Good to know. 🙂 Sorry if I’m behind on that but I haven’t been able to watch the editing room clips til now. Clips 63 and 64 are going to be real spoilers. They will shed a little light on how the subject and cubes go together. Can’t wait.
Plus, LT.Col.Abraham makes it seem like there are more than one subject by the way he says ” This subject’s attempt to escape”.
you never know, this might just be a little wink and a nod to the assumption that area 51 has a few subjects there.

Figured out why I kept seeing the fine constant symbol. It’s actually a reference to a group called Project 137. Project 137 was a team of elite scientists brought together to propose and conduct secret experiments for the government in the late 1950s. They later changed their name to Jason. What the Manhattan Project was to the 1940s, Jason is to every secret government project since 1960. One of the founding members was Nicholas Christofilos.
